Hello all,

It is with great regret the I must inform you all that I have decided to call it a day with my involvement in Harrier List UK. I have been mulling the idea over for a while and nearly decided to call it a day the last time the subscription was up on the website. But in the end decided to continue. There are 3 main reasons for this.

1) I wish to go and concentrate with other projects I am involved in our hobby.

2) While wanting to give this site as much time as possible I have found it had to continue doing so while doing other things that I am currently working on or have worked on.

3) With the current financial climate the current annual cost of £100 come out of my own pocket and these funds are now required else where.

So what now you may ask? The current hosting package currently expires in May 2010 and my plan right now is to keep publishing newsletters until that date. Or if it happens before I will finish it once the last Harrier has rolled of the JUMP line. If for any reason this is after the date I have set I will post the newsletter else where for you to read at a location I will announce later.

I hope that you all understand what a difficult choice that this has been for me to make and I hope you continue to visit the site until it closure.

If you have any further questions please feel free to email me and I will do my best to answer them.

Regards

Breaking news!!!

Reported today via the MoD was the news that a Harrier T.10/T.12 has crashed while on a training ex at RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus. Reports suggest that both members of the crew ejected from the aircraft and where taken to a local hospital as a precaution. Although thank fully they do not seem to have been  injured.  From initial reports the aircraft was in the hover after returning from a training sortie when the engine court fire cause both crew to eject. At this time it is unclear as to what caused the accident and a full enquire has been launched. Harrier List UK would like to wish both pilots and families our thoughts and wish both pilots a speedy recovery. News coming out of the area suggest that the Harrier involved was ZH656/104 a Harrier T.12.
